Michael T. Ratton
Attorney specializing in Personal Injury, Medical Malpractice, Auto Accident Litigation, Premises Liability, Motorcycle Accident Litigation, Legal Malpractice, Husband and Father.
Practicing law allows me the opportunity and privilege to help individuals who have been placed in stressful and, oftentimes, life-altering situations against larger and wealthier opponents. My goal is to make sure they receive fair and equitable treatment under the law or fight on their behalf to change the existing law.
What our clients say . . .
Michael Ratton landed at Fieger Law in 2009 with 20 years of experience in personal injury law including a decade-long partnership with his wife, Marian Wangler, at Ratton & Wangler.
Legal cases, like life, are ever-changing. Prepare, never assume. Stay humble and thirst for knowledge, excitement and new experiences.
After several years as a nurse at Detroit Receiving Hospital, Ratton was motivated to combine his expertise in the medical profession with patient advocacy and attended Detroit College of Law. He has been fighting for the rights of injured patients since 1989.
Ratton has a special passion for accident victims having survived a serious motorcycle accident himself. He provides a special warmth and compassion for his clients knowing that survival, recovery and quality of life are often determined by the quality and timing of medical care received.
Originally from Arkansas, Ratton attended high school in Michigan, and earned his undergraduate degree at Beloit College in Wisconsin. He received a B.S. in Nursing in 1984 from Rush University in Chicago.
Michael and his wife have six children.
