Stephanie L. Arndt

Stephanie Arndt quickly realized the importance of appellate law when the verdicts her clients rightfully obtained were challenged on appeal. As an attorney skilled in oral and written argument, she is one of the few lawyers who can successfully guide a massive verdict from trial all the way through the appeal process. In a legal landscape where companies are fighting harder and harder to avoid accountability, being able to defend a ruling in appeal (or challenge one) is an increasingly vital skill.

Appellate law is unique when it comes to the law, as it is primarily argued through briefs submitted to the appeals judge. The briefs are written arguments that argue the merits (or injustice) of a lower court’s decision. It was through appeals that Stephanie realized she had a passion and a talent for legal writing. Her clarity and ability to identify the most relevant points in a case have made her an incredible asset to all of her clients.

Stephanie’s work has not gone unnoticed by her peers or adversaries. In 2009, she was declared an “Up and Coming Lawyer” by Lawyers’ Weekly, and has been chosen by the Super Lawyers® Rising Stars several times since the beginning of her career. The American Society of Legal Advocates recently declared her one of Michigan’s “Top 40 Under 40 Litigation Lawyers.”

Aside from serving clients at Fieger Law, Stephanie is also committed to improving the practice of law in her community. She frequently works as a case evaluator for Oakland County and works with organizations who are devoted to refining the legal profession.
