In 2001, James Harrington was hired by Geoffrey Fieger as a law clerk while in his second year of law school. He worked full time while attending the University of Detroit Mercy Law School at night. He was a member of the National Moot Court Team where he argued First Amendment issues at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.
After passing the Bar, Harrington was hired by Fieger to join his team of trial lawyers. Harrington has navigated complicated cases in federal court and state courts throughout Michigan. He has also represented clients in state and federal courts in Ohio, Florida, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Louisiana on a pro hac vice status.
Harrington earned his undergraduate degree at Adrian College where he played football for four years and was a team captain during his senior season. He earned a dual major from Adrian in Criminal Justice and Spanish.
It is an honor to be a member of one of the most honorable professions in our country. As trial lawyers, we have a great opportunity to help families who have suffered a tremendous loss.
