Paul W. Broschay

Paul Broschay has practiced law since 1984 when he graduated from the Detroit College of Law. Following law school, he was an associate at a firm specializing in medical malpractice defense, Cozzad, Shazle, Smith and Andrews. He later was an associate at the downtown Detroit law firm of Zeff & Zeff, P.C., where he represented seriously injured persons in malpractice and negligence claims.

Since joining Fieger, Fieger, Kenney, Johnson & Giroux in 1999 he has handled several multi-million dollar claims ranging from medical malpractice birth trauma cases to police and corrections misconduct and trucking negligence cases.

He has been assigned several high profile cases such as Finley vs. Lord & Taylor, which involved the death of a shopper at the Fairlane Shopping Center in Dearborn, Michigan at the hands of store security guards and a medical malpractice cases. Tonak vs. Northpointe in the Wayne County Circuit Court resulted in a verdict of over $10,000,000.00.

Mr. Broschay specializes in litigating cases in the Federal Courts which involve claims of Constitutional violations by law enforcement officers and prison guards. He has appeared in Courts throughout the country in states such as Florida, Texas, Ohio, Indiana and Illinois.
