Born and raised in Southeastern Michigan, Cullen Bryant McKinney obtained his undergraduate degree from Michigan State University, after which he earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit-Mercy School of Law.
For decades, Cullen defended health care professionals in complex litigation, regulatory matters, and disciplinary actions—experience that gave him a deep understanding of medical systems, clinical decision-making, and the real-world consequences for patients and families. Cullen has tried more than 70 medical malpractice cases in state and federal courts, with a greater than 95% success rate. Specializing in all areas of medical malpractice law, he has also negotiated nearly a thousand medical negligence claims.
