James S. Craig
James Craig joined Fieger Law in 2011 with over 16 years of experience in plaintiff personal injury law and medical malpractice. During law school, Craig worked full time as a law clerk for a medical malpractice defense firm while attending Detroit College of Law at night. Craig’s final semester was spent on an externship program in Innsbruck, Austria, where he was among a small group of students taught by Justice John Paul Stevens of the U.S. Supreme Court.
Between college and law school Jim was privileged to intern with The International Union (UAW) where he assisted the in-house legal staff with appellate, trial and internal union matters at the UAW International Headquarters in Detroit.
After passing the Bar, Craig was hired by a busy personal injury law firm where he specialized in automobile negligence, premises liability and medical malpractice. Since he became an attorney, Craig has worked exclusively for persons who were injured. In addition to defending the rights of the injured, Craig has handled criminal appointments and civil appeals, and serves as a case evaluator in Oakland and Wayne counties.
James was recently selected as a member of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers. The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 Trial Lawyers is an organization comprised of the “premier trial lawyers from each state in the nation who meet stringent qualifications as civil plaintiff trial lawyers.”
